Brain Froggy lives on the App Store and on Google Play. Both stores have the same animation, the same Froggy, the same one-minute reset. The only thing that changes is the button you tap.

We treat the App Store version and the Google Play version as the same product. Updates ship to both at the same time. The breathing animation, the hats, the gentle nudges, the offline sessions all work the same on iPhone and on Android. There's no Apple-only feature. No Android-only feature. No second-class platform. If your phone is your phone, that's the right phone to install Brain Froggy on.
On the App Store (iOS and iPadOS)
The iOS build runs on iPhone and iPad. It doesn't ask for HealthKit. It doesn't read your motion sensors. It doesn't register a watch complication. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Apple never sees what time you picked, and neither do we. Subscriptions are handled by the App Store; cancellation lives in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. The launch build ships in English and Polish.
On Google Play (phones and tablets)
The Android build runs on phones and tablets. It doesn't ask for contacts, location, or microphone permissions. The only permission it requests is the standard notification permission, and only when you turn reminders on. Subscriptions are handled by Google Play; cancellation lives in Play Store → Profile → Payments and subscriptions. The launch build is live in English and Polish, identical to the iOS one.
System requirements
On iOS we support the latest two major releases (iOS 17 and iOS 18) on iPhone 11 and newer. On Android we support Android 8.0 and newer on any device with 2 GB of RAM or more. The install is small, around 50 MB, because the artwork is vector-based and most of the audio is synthesised on the fly. Sessions, hats, and affirmations work offline; internet is only needed for the install itself, for store-side billing, and for the optional sync between devices. Battery impact is negligible: a one-minute session uses less power than scrolling a single news article, and the app does nothing in the background between reminders.
Common install questions
Do I need an account? No. Open the app, finish onboarding, run a session. Sign in only if you want hats and preferences to follow you across devices. Will it work without internet? Yes. Sessions, hats, affirmations, and reminder scheduling run offline. Does it auto-update? Yes, through your store, on the same schedule as your other apps. Can I share a subscription between iOS and Android? Not yet. Apple and Google handle billing separately, so an App Store receipt does not unlock the Play Store side and vice versa. Cross-store entitlement is on our list. It's not in this release.
