Delete your Brain Froggy data

How to ask WeCodeMobile, the developer of the Brain Froggy app, to delete the data the app stores about you, what we delete, and what stays.

Last updated: 2026-10-05

Option 1: from inside the app (fastest)

Brain Froggy has no accounts, so your data is filed under a random anonymous ID. From app version 1.0.2, the in-app form attaches that ID to your message automatically, which lets us find and delete everything linked to it. On an older version, update the app first, or use option 2.

  1. Open the Brain Froggy app.
  2. Go to Settings and tap Share feedback.
  3. Enter your email address so we can confirm when it is done.
  4. In the message, write "Delete my data" and tap Send.
  5. We confirm by email once your data has been deleted, within 30 days at the latest.

Option 2: by email (if the app is no longer installed)

Without the app we cannot see your anonymous ID, so we need something else to find your records.

  1. Write to hello@wecodemobile.com with the subject "Delete my Brain Froggy data".
  2. If you ever bought a subscription, include the Google Play order number (starts with GPA.) or the App Store order ID from your purchase receipt. It lets us find your anonymous ID and delete everything linked to it.
  3. If you never bought anything, we delete every feedback message sent from your email address. Any cloud backup left under your anonymous ID cannot be linked to you by anyone, including us.
  4. We reply from hello@wecodemobile.com to confirm, within 30 days at the latest.

What we delete

Everything linked to your anonymous ID: the cloud backup (onboarding answers including your brain fog and headache answer, session history, hats, settings), your reminder schedule and time zone, iPhone Live Activity push tokens, your anonymous Firebase Authentication identity, your customer record and purchase history at RevenueCat, and your feedback messages including your email address.

What we keep, and for how long

Some data is not linked to your anonymous ID, so we cannot single it out. It expires on its own: Firebase Analytics events after 14 months, Crashlytics crash reports after 90 days, onboarding statistics records after 24 months. Apple and Google keep their own payment and billing records under their own policies; deleting your data with us does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it in Google Play or the App Store first. We keep a short note that your request was handled (the date and the email address you wrote from) for up to 3 years, as proof that we met our legal obligation.

Deleting only what is on your phone

Uninstalling Brain Froggy, or clearing its storage in your Android settings, deletes the local database on your device straight away. It does not delete the cloud backup. On iPhone, the Keychain recovery key stays after uninstalling and would reconnect a reinstalled app to your old backup; asking us to delete your data, as above, breaks that link for good.
